NEW! 2016 Raffle Prizes – Art, Cash & More!

(Honesdale, May 31, 2016)….Raffle-ticket buyers for this year’s Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival can vie for two cash prizes for the first time, along with six other great prizes donated by local businesses.  In addition to a $500 top prize, there is a $250 prize up for grabs, along with a stay at a cabin in Maine, courtesy of Hunt Signs and a 32-inch flat screen tv, contributed by Music & Video Express.  Once again, Joeann Knehr of Chickadee Studio has crafted a beautiful stained-glass guitar hanging for a prize, and Jerry Land Jewelers has donated an engraved sterling-silver bar necklace.  Dorflinger Suydam is offering two season flex tickets for its 2016 Wildflower Music Festival and the Wayne County Fair has provided two fair passes and two tickets to this year’s Kane Brown concert.


Tickets are $5 each, six for $25 and can be purchased at Bold’s Garden Center, Nature’s Grace, Motion Physical Therapy, Apple Day Spa, R3 Hardware and the Trackside Grill.Tickets can also be bought on the day of the event, June 18th, in Honesdale’s Central Park. The drawing will take place at approximately 7pm. Winner need not be present to win!


Raffle proceeds help underwrite the totally-free Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival, which is produced by volunteers and supported by grants and donations.  This year’s music lineup includes Amy Helm (headliner), Sarah Borges and The Broken Singles, The Tall Pines and Two-Thirds Goat.  Downtown bands start the day at 10:30; the fun moves to the main stage at 1:30pm.
