LARKIN POE

“Swaggeringly bad girl bluesy rock”

                                     - The Guardian

This sibling duo out of Georgia with a “colorful family history” says they leave  “little pieces of our hearts in every club we’ve played,” and folks at this years’ Roots & Rhythm will get more than a taste of that!   The two sisters, Rebecca and Megan Lovell have racked up a season of touring highlights, including being part of the All-Star backing band during the 2017 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Tom Petty in February.  They named themselves after their great-great-great grandfather, but way back in history they are related to tortured literary genius Edgar Allan Poe. “These Gals like their Gritty Southern Heritage with a Cosmopolitan Twist,” according to the Huffington Post.  And we can’t wait to hear them!
