Here at Roots & Rhythm it has always been about the music. We are very excited to announce our 2024 lineup. Take a moment to explore more about each artist/act below. As always it’s going to be a real memorable event folks! Bring a chair and your dancing feet! These are all headliners so don’t miss a minute.

Slam Allen – The internationally renowned Slam Allen is a messenger of love. This dynamic entertainer uses the genres of Blues, Soul, R&B, and a touch of Rock and Roll to deliver powerful soul stirring performances! Slam captures you with a voice that echoes Otis Redding, a guitar that immerses you in B. B. King and stage energy reminiscent of James Brown, all while captivating you with his own original music!

Deke Dickerson & the Whippersnappers – Deke Dickerson has devoted his long career to keeping America’s roots music alive while interjecting new creativity into genres of music that flourished in decades previous. Deke & the Whippersnappers will also be our featured act at the Late Night Ramble directly after the Main Stage closes @ Here & Now Brewing.

Steve Guyger – For over thirty years Steve Guyger has been honing his skills on the harmonica and delighting blues audiences worldwide. Steve was one of our main stage headliners at our first annual Roots & Rhythm in 2006.

Paul Rishell & Annie Raines – For 30 years Paul Rishell & Annie Raines have been hailed as one of the world’s best blues duos. They have recorded 6 albums together including the W.C. Handy Award-winning Moving to the Country (2000), and received numerous award nominations from the Blues Foundation. They have performed and recorded with John Sebastian, Susan Tedeschi, Pinetop Perkins and Rory Block. They have opened for Ray Charles, Dr. John, and Little Feat, and performed on international radio and TV shows including Late Night with Conan O’Brien and A Prairie Home Companion. They continue to perform American roots music and their own compositions at festivals, concert halls, and clubs all over the world.

Roberta Faceplant – Roberta Faceplant is a honky tonk hurricane with a voice that blends the raw, rock n’ roll grit of Janis Joplin and the whimsical, western smoothness of Patsy Cline.
