HONESDALE, April 15, 2020 — Following considerable deliberations, the Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival Board of Directors has chosen to put this year\u2019s festival on hold. The event originally planned for June 20, 2020 will regrettably not take place on the third Saturday in June as it has for the past 14 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nlight of the fact that many of the festival\u2019s key players and sponsors\ncurrently have to place their own health and economic well being first, any\ndecisions made to reschedule in 2020 will be made based on sound public health\nguidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music\n& Arts Festival<\/a> has drawn thousands to enjoy acts on the main stage,\ndowntown bands stretching the length of Main Street, award-winning sustainability\nefforts and exceptional works of art from artists in the community all for the\nmost affordable price possible. Organizers are still working toward celebrating\na 15th<\/sup> year when the time is right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At\nthe appropriate time, the board and committee will take the proper steps to\nnotify valued sponsors, participants and fans as to any updates for the\nfestival.
