Q: ARE THERE PLACES TO SIT IN THE PARK?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Public seating is limited but you are welcome to bring lawn chairs and\/or blankets to sit on. The terrain is largely grass.  If it\u2019s a hot day, you may want to bring sunscreen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: CAN I BRING FOOD INTO THE PARK?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Yes, but alcoholic beverages and tobacco use, including electronic cigarettes, are prohibited by Honesdale Borough\u2019s Parks & Recreation Department. Many people bring picnic coolers and thermoses and make a day of the event. We also have a Food Vendors Row where you can purchase many different types of food. NOTE: Please be aware of our \u201cgreen\u201d initiatives and use recyclable utensils, cups, etc., if you can and deposit trash when done in the appropriate bins which are marked and scattered around the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: ARE PETS ALLOWED?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Yes, but all pets must be leashed when in the park. There is no designated area for pets, so please bring your own disposal bags for pet waste.  If you intend to deposit those bags in one of our trash bins, we would appreciate it if you would use biodegradable bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: HOW CLOSE CAN I GET TO THE STAGE? CAN I MEET THE PERFORMERS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: While the public is not allowed on the stage, the front row is less than 12 feet from the stage. Many of the artists can be found after their performances at the Merchandise Tent next to the stage where their CDs are for sale and they can be approached for questions or autographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: ARE THERE PUBLIC RESTROOMS IN THE PARK?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Roots & Rhythm has portable toilets\u2014 porta potties\u2014in the two corners of the park along Church Street. There are also hand-washing stations nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q:  WHERE CAN I PARK?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:  Honesdale Borough offers on-street parking. On Festival Day, however, meter rules are suspended and the Borough does not impose fines. There is also parking in a lot behind Turkey Hill on Main Street, down 12th<\/sup> Street. It belongs to Wayne Memorial Hospital, which opens the lot for the day for public use.  HANDICAPPED PARKING <\/strong>is available on Church Street adjacent to the park. Please respect handicapped parking spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: THE FESTIVAL IS FREE, BUT IF I NEED MONEY, IS THERE AN ATM ON SITE?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:  Yes, Honesdale National Bank provides an automated teller machine that takes most bank cards.  It is located usually near the Merchandise Tent where you can also buy Roots gear. The Dime Bank also offers an ATM at its location directly across from Central Park on Church and 9th<\/sup> Streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q:  DOES THE MERCHANDISE TENT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:  Yes\u2014MasterCard or Visa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q:  DOES THE FOOD ROW OFFER VEGETARIAN OR GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:  There are usually both vegetarian and gluten-free items for sale on Food Row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q:  ARE THERE ANY OUTLETS FOR CHARGING CELLPHONES, ETC.?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:  Unfortunately, there are no charging stations in the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q:  ARE THERE PLACES NEARBY TO CAMP?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:\u00a0\u00a0 Yes, there are several campgrounds in the surrounding area, Visit\u00a0www.visitpa.com\/pa\/honesdale\/all-accommodations\/campgrounds\u00a0or search \u201ccampgrounds Honesdale PA\u201d to f<\/a>ind out more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: HOW DO I FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAL AND THE LINEUP?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Besides this website, you can pick up a Festival Guide at the Merchandise Tent on Festival Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
