The Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Committee are thrilled to announce that last night The Blues Foundation presented the 2008 Blues Music Awards (formerly the W.C.Handy Awards) at The Grand Casino - Event Center, Tunica in the Mississippi Delta.
The Headliners of this years Roots & Rhythm Festival, The Holmes Brothers were awarded the "Soul Blues Album of the Year Award" for their current release "State of Grace" on Alligator Records.
We Congratulate The Holmes Brothers on this tremendous achievement.
