The 3^rd. Annual Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival is planned for Saturday, June 21, 2008. The chairpersons once again are Gail M. Tucker and John Rocklin.

The festival is completely free to local residents and visitors to our area. It will feature Main Street performances Saturday morning in addition to the main event in Central Park, which begins at 1:30 p.m.

WNEP TV, Bold Gold Media Group, The Weekly Almanac, The River Reporter, Connections Magazine, the 570.com, and The Weekender have all come on board as our media sponsors.

We are very excited about this event. Last year, the festival brought approximately  5000 music & art lovers to Honesdale. This year’s event will be bigger and better!

Our continuing goal is to create an annual music and arts event in Honesdale that will attract an increasing number of both local residents and tourists, and to expand the event each year. In accomplishing this, we hope to bring benefit to both the business community and our local residents.
